The drought here in East Tennessee is sooo bad I only received nine and a half inches of rain since last Saturday morning. That is using a five gallon Bucket set in the open and measuring with a tape measure.
Chicken Little was alive and well in 1957. Even then things were worse than ever before although history provides evidence that contradicts those claims.
In addition to deleting all weather records prior to 1950, the Weather Service needs to delete the 1950’s as well. Too much heat and drought during the 1950’s, so they never happened either.
