The more things change the more things stay the same.
The (lol) science behind the CAGW/CC/Climate disruption/Climate weirding (<—–heh had to add that to FF's dictionary) hasn't significantly changed in spite of over 30 years of intense study and funding. I can't wait to see what they call it next. They just re-cycle old failed notions.
The discussion on cloud feedbacks is a riot. They come up the greatest of extravagances to try and determine something that any 3rd grader already knows. Clouds are a negative feed back.
Who are those two?
Was wondering the same.
For me power is like a really fast sports car. Sooner or later I will test the limits of both and do my best not to get caught.
The House has begun an investigation into stimulus money that was given to a failed green company, you know the type that was supposed to create all the jobs so we wouldn’t have 9% unemployment. The OMB is dragging its feet in releasing all financial documents that pertain to the investigation. Gosh this new transparent government is so much more concerned about how taxpayer money is spent isn’t it? I’m sure we will also see quick action from NASA’s rapid response team pertaining to Jim Hansen’s extracurricular financial activities that may be in violation of NASA employment standards.

BTW on the stimulus/jobs front I heard a great line pertaining to Obama’s recent joke about shovel ready jobs not being all that shovel ready. The commenter said that, “Obama’s job as president will be shovel ready by November 2012”
It was nothing but a political payoff. Money went to the districts of political contributors. I once saw an interesting graphic about how dispersion of the stimulus. States that voted Dem were the recipients of the lion’s share of the money.
Both political payback and indicative of the character and mindset of those people.
The stimulus money all fell into a black hole, because there has been no stimulus.
