Obama’s Scenario A

Obama sold the American people a trillion dollar stimulus package using scenarios B and C. Scenario B was no stimulus and 8% unemployment in 2011. Scenario C was stimulus and 7% unemployment in 2011.

Obama forgot to mention scenario A, which is an extra trillion dollars debt and 9% unemployment in 2011.  He makes Jimmy Carter look like an economic genius.

    “He makes Jimmy Carter look like an economic genius.”———— Well, he does get bonus points to doing what was once considered impossible.

    Charles Krauthammer has a similar view of Sarah Palin to what I have–though his is much more eloquently communicated than mine:

    You know what is freaking amazing? Even Hansen and Mann couldn’t design a scarier graph than what was actually created by the Three Stooges: President Dumbo, Pelosi and Reid …

    Graph-1 :: Graph-2 :: Graph-3

    And please note: those graphs only got to FY 2009 (made in 2010).

  7. Independent says:

    I love this graph. It has a definite and effective use: just show it to anyone who argues for Keynesianism. What a !@#$ing waste.

  8. Paul H says:

    The graph looks a bit like the MWP. Perhaps Obummer should call in Michael Mann to suppress it.
