Last summer, Moscow was the proxy for Earth. This year it is Austin!
The fact that it was 105 degrees in Austin [yesterday] makes it impossible to totally ignore the fact that something’s happening with the climate.

Well no dah. It never used to be hot in Texas in August.
When I lived there it was always really cold – in Barton Springs.
We call it summer down here, but no doubt Yale knows better than us rubes.
It reached 112 degrees in Austin in 2000:

According to the Weather Underground, the high in Austin yesterday was 104, a degree cooler than the record set in 1953. So a linear graph connecting these dates would show cooling since 1953.
Well, I lived in Kansas off & on for 18 years, and it was never over 100°F, except maybe during the Summer, so the fact that it’s 105°F 600 miles* to the South proves that global warming is real.
*trust me, I’m very familiar with the fact that this is 970km: it ties in perfectly with the fact that points 1200km apart have the same weather, ergo, climate change!
I wonder how come no one gave a crap about Texas summer temps when I lived in El Paso and S.A.? Well, sure those places aren’t Austin, but they were freakin hot!!
You think they will let a comment thru that questions the statement about climate change in Austin? Well will see.
It’s very common to have snow in Austin year round, just like Scotland.
And Moscow is turning into Austin !

Hot in Austin Texas? Wow! Now I do believe in ‘global warming’!
YES THAT WAS SARCASM
I thought everyone knew this already!
Oh wait a minute. You guys were talking about temperature?
Nevermind.
“We’re not going to duck it entirely. The fact that it was 105 degrees in Austin [yesterday] makes it impossible to totally ignore the fact that something’s happening with the climate. But we won’t be leading with that, but propose solutions that people can be for, even if they’re skeptical about climate science.” – Attorney Jim Marston
If a person is skeptical about “climate science” why would they be interested in your “solutions?”
This bunch of “guys” are the AGW alarmist version of ‘conscious men’. Only they’re apologizing to Gaia.
