USHCN has turned no trend (red) in maximum temperatures into a strong warming trend (blue) – through the magic of data of adjustments.
They subtract almost four degrees from 1950 measured temperatures, two degrees from the 1960s and 1970s, one degree from the 1980s and 1990s, and zero degrees from the 2000s. What a wonderful way to create a warming trend where there is none.
….and no justification for it at all.
But ‘scientists’ don’t manipulate data :/
My fridge freezer is showing 25 degrees, I’ll subtract 20 degrees from this and my ice cream won’t be so mushy. h/t Hansen
Outside in our English summer the temperature is 57F. The dog wants to go for a walk up on the moors and tells me the real Hansenised temperature is much higher.
He can take a running jump.
