I have a sudden urge of buy a Hummer H1.
I have a sudden urge to buy a hammer!
What a dreadful little gimboid.
I do wish that people would stop with the “Carbon” thing when they mean CO2.
It is misleading in light of these commonly available facts: (courtesy of wikipedia )
“Carbon is the 15th most abundant element in the Earth’s crust, and the fourth most abundant element in the universe by mass after hydrogen, helium, and oxygen. It is present in all known life forms, and in the human body carbon is the second most abundant element by mass (about 18.5%) after oxygen.[14] This abundance, together with the unique diversity of organic compounds and their unusual polymer-forming ability at the temperatures commonly encountered on Earth, make this element the chemical basis of all known life.”
But people are being told that they can do without it and rid the earth of it. Such are the dreams of lunatics.
I wish Greenpeace would provide a list of proscribed and allowed elements of the periodic table.
Proscribed:
Sodium
Carbon
Chlorene
Uranium
Cadmium
Mercury
Radon
Strontium
Florine
Beryllium
we have to eradicate our planet of these elements, they are EEEEEVIL
Do carbon fiber skis count in your carbon footprint ?
But every scientist knows we need more CO2 in the atmosphere for better crop yields and better drought resistance. I always burn my plastic bottles and bags in my backyard burn pile every week to do my little part. This also saves the energy needed for recycling, as recycling has been proven to be energy wasteful. What are YOU doing to help feed the world?
Let’s all agree to do our part for alleviating World Hunger. Oxidize Carbon, Don’t Bury It!
Of course David Viner has been generously rewarded for his shoddy work. He is now “Global Director for Climate Change” at the British Council.
According to FOI info I have got from them, he is on about £70K pa + perks.
I wonder what job he would be doing now if he had forecast 10 years ago that the UK climate would get colder.
From the same FOI I have discovered that David Viner and his assistant have spent £124K on travel over the last 4 years.
I wonder if he went everywhere by train?
