Families are still devastated.
Yep. The engine landed a couple of blocks away from my grandmother’s house.
My thinking was, why re-open any wounds.
If we have any Government agency that actually works it is the NTSB, I don’t know what caused that crash, but the NTSB does, and apparently they have unlimited powers to make sure the factors that led to that crash will not happen again.
Just a coincidence that it happened two months to the day after 9/11.

I didn’t look up flight 800 for “blade”, but it is very easy to do on the NTSB website.
I never knew such information was so easily accessed !!

I’m not so sold on the idea that NTSB works that well or is apolitical.
This flight Steve has mentioned, 587, and another one … TWA Flight 800
No conspiracy theories are required to cloud the issue. But neither of them pass the smell test.
What they both do smell like, is political intervention to throw out the terrorism connection.
