One stillborn after another coming from the pet rock maternity ward. Could it be CO2 killing the underweight baby storms?
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Former Obama WH Economist: Unemployment Won’t Drop Below 8% Before End of 2012
Tuesday, August 16, 2011
By Fred Lucas
Washington (CNSNews.com) – The White House economic adviser who determined in 2009 that if President Barack Obama’s stimulus bill were passed unemployment would not go above 8 percent, now says he was wrong and that he does not think unemployment will go below 8 percent before the end of 2012–the last year of the four-year term Obama won in 2008.
A widely anticipated press conference by the Eurozone’s two top dogs, France’s Nicolas Sarkozy and Germany’s Angela Merkel, confirmed that there will be no Eurobonds in the near future, as both leaders pledged to defend the euro and noted they would be pushing for a balanced-budget amendment to be enforced across the monetary union by 2012….
Putting aside the obvious, that a European socialist type balanced budget amendment would probably not have strong limits on taxation, doesn’t this sort of destroy the foundation behind Keynesian economics?
NAH! NAH! NAH! If even after USSR the fervence in the believers has not decreased, how would the ferevence in the belief of its captialistic counterpart Keynesianism) decrease?
I would love to have the tea party control the presidency and both houses of congress and see where the country stood after four years. Does ideology matter that much, or are the problems basically just too great?
having a balanced budget is racist and radical and terrorists……….
….it’s that constant 20%……..that think Obama is going to pay their mortgage

Me too!
I would just phrase it differently …
‘I would love to have the Constitution control the presidency and both houses of congress and see where the country stood after four years.‘
That’s the point really.
That IS the POINT!
Back to Gert, the National Hurricane Center appears to be running an abortion mill.
Next up: Harvey the Invisible Rabbit.
“One stillborn after another coming from the pet rock maternity ward.”
Maybe someone should be investigated for storm abuse.
Still very early in the Hurricane season. Remember that Andrew was the first named storm in August of ’92. Only now are we beginning to move toward peak season for tropical weather. while I hope for a uneventful season. The law of averages says that we are due.
Prior to 1945 there were no named storms. This suggests that the average number of named storms per year over the last 10,000,000 years is zero.
If they keep naming fish and rocks, they will run out of names soon. 😆
