Almost as stupid and arrogant as Obama. These anointed leaders seem to believe that the world revolves around them.
MARK COLVIN: Thousands of people have rallied out the front of Parliament, challenging the Federal Government to call an immediate election and stop its plans to introduce a carbon tax.
The Prime Minister Julia Gillard is not about to oblige them, but she’s been reminded several times today that it’s exactly a year since she uttered those words that have haunted her since – that there would be no carbon tax under a government she led.
Ms Gillard says she knows her words have disappointed many.

More than her words! That Convoy is gaining a lot of steam!
I posted a suggestion at WUWT (/2011/08/14/let-them-truckers-roll-down-under-10-4/) to our Australian friends …
For some reason I am thinking of the early Spielberg movie ‘Duel‘!
Suggestion to our Australian friends: get some stills of ‘Duel’, and photoshop in Julia in place of Dennis Weaver!

lol, that was a cool movie….. I hadn’t heard it mentioned for a very long time!
Let them truckers roll, ten, four.
“Ms Gillard says she knows her words have disappointed many.”
Hmm – so lies are merely disappointing words?
Well, to politicians wasting money is making “investments.” You do the math.
In other news, no surprise, then, the spate of articles registering “disappointment” with Obama recently.
Ah yes, it’s not that their ideas (& subsequent actions) are stupid or transparently corrupt or outright evil, it’s just the fact that they haven’t found the right slogan to chant.
The disappointment goes much deeper than her specious words.

Her words didn’t disappoint people, it was her actions that did all the disappointing.
It seems like she just lied about the Cah-bone tax so that she could get elected.
So Julia say nothing permanently- basically quit being an MP (Parliament wouldn’t permit an MP to never speak) . Make all Australians happy.
