Having come through one of the mildest 30 year periods in history, the US press is engaged in record whining and hysterics over what was once considered the normal vagaries of weather. This is an indication of a lame culture, rather than a shift in the climate.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Extremely lame…. agreed. Beyond lame, really. I never would have believed such a realm existed where the likes of Romm, Mann, Hansen, Jones and so on, would be able to so blatently continue such a farce that reality doesn’t even begin to bear out; were it not that I live there…
What has happened is that the alarmists and MSM have already whined so much about non events that even when significant events do take place, it all sounds like the SOS. Kind of like the boy crying “wolf”. Probably most people are tuning them out one way or another. In another month or so, when summer is over, it will all be quickly forgotten.
Yes, but by then they will have found something else to obsess about. And it will be unprecedented and quite alarming!! Likely, what ever it is, it will be the most, or the worst or the greatest evuh!!!
Their ratings are dropping. They have become a sideshow.
Unprecedentedly lame.
Quit your whining about the whining…
