We Can See The Future – But Only The Very Distant Future

Sea level may not go up much any time soon. The Arctic may go through a decade or so without melting any more, temperatures may be going down. But in about 50 years the $hit is really going to hit the fan.

Arctic ice melt could pause in near future, then resume again

BOULDER—Although Arctic sea ice appears fated to melt away as the climate continues to warm, the ice may temporarily stabilize or somewhat expand at times over the next few decades, new research indicates.

    Global warming – the theory that can never be disproven. Cover your ass by saying the temperature can go down and its still global warming, more snow or less snow means its global warming or that the arctic ice is increasing but its going to decrease like crazy 30 years from now. I really feel bad for these people, they would have done great running the inquisition.

    I interpret the press release as saying: The science is settled we do not know WTF is going to happen but we will claim we do.
