This week marked the one year anniversary of Andrew Dessler and Joe Romm declaring a permanent drought for Texas. Dessler mocked governor Rick Perry for saying that the rains would return.

Is there still unprecedented droughflood in Texas or just garden variety floods?
It’s always feast or famine in Texas. Not all that unusual. Back in 2007 during the summer, somewhere northwest of Austin, Texas got hit with 19 inches of rainfall within 24 hours.
Texas is now suffering the World’s first under-water drought. Selected farmers in Texas could be given free trips to Australia to see what real droughts are like.
