“some climatologists predict”. “A model”. Puleeze! This drivel is non stop wet manure spreading. Hansen is of course referring to a pre programmed model designed to show what he wants, and based on a non existent problem.

Unfortunately no transparency in the “models.”

Now, tornadic cells form within hurricanes, and those tornado winds can easily exceed 225 mph. However the implication is that hurricane winds will be at that speed, and I’d seriously question the extrapolation factors in that “40 to 50 percent more energetic…” model.

If Hansen’s recent 10x log sea-level graphic is any indication as to the extrapolation methods he uses, then rest assured, no “monster hurricanes” will be in your future.

  3. Andy DC says:

The next cloud swirl in the Atlantic Basin will be called a CAT 5 even if in reality it has only 50 mph winds. The lunatics are running the insane asylum and can make a hurricane in the middle of nowhere anything they want it to be.

  4. Brian G Valentine says:

What a shit head he is

does he realize that the absolute barometric pressure difference would have to be about 7 psi to cause a wind speed like that
