August 17, 1915 – Category 4 Hurricane Hit Galveston, Texas

Galveston was completely destroyed by a hurricane in 1900, and was nearly destroyed again in 1915 by a category 4 hurricane with 135 MPH winds. It was the fourth costliest hurricane in US history.

According to Hansen, 1915 was one of the coldest years in US history, and 1916 was the coldest year. Alarmists tie hurricane damage to increasing CO2, because they are complete idiots.

Only one of the top ten since 1970. Climate change means fewer hurricanes! Keep that CO2 coming!

Actually two of the top 10 since 1970, but wow, 6 out of the top 10 before 1950, wow, and supposedly the weather was much nicer back then with low CO2. This AGW crap is a joke.
