Top climate scientists believe that a 0.0001 increase in CO2 atmospheric mole fraction can increase the temperature at Los Angeles by 12F.
These same people don’t believe that 2,000 square miles of asphalt and concrete, 10 million cars burning trillions of BTUs of gasoline, 15 million people, millions of air conditioners, and massive air pollution has a significant direct impact on the temperature in Los Angeles.

Yes. .0001 of the atmosphere has changed! That is because CO2 has increased from the “safe” level of 350ppm to 400ppm. So that means that 1 in every 20,000 parts of the atmosphere has changed to the evil Co2, and has resulted in runaway global warming. UNPRECEDENTED! If only we let the good people take over, we could fix that 1 in 20,000 of the bad stuff we have ruined our atmosphere with. la la la la la.

We have to adjust the current temperature up relative to the 1930’s because air conditioning now keeps us cool. Now please give me a Government grant for such an ingenious statement. I will even write a paper on the subject, for peer review among fellow alarmists. It will not by any means be even close to the most idiotic paper ever written by an alarmist.
