In June, hysterical alarmists declared that the west was “literally burning” and that the fires would continue until winter snows fell.
There are no large fires burning in Colorado, New Mexico or Arizona, and it appears that the total fire count this year in the US will likely finish the lowest since at least 2003.
Steven , why are you using facts ? It’s the warmist feelings that count don’t cha know .
8 new large fires reported yesterday according to the National Interagency Fire Center.. How is this an indication of some positive news? Also, in terms of forest fires in the US or the world for that matter, why are you focused only on Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado? Is it because you are focused on the west? Here is a list of current, active, large fires in the west. I count 35 large fires currently burning. To me, a layman, that sounds like a lot not a little. P.S. love your work, keep it up.
Arizona (1)
California (9)
Idaho (8)
Montana (5)
Nevada (8)
Oregon (1)
Utah (2)
Washington (1)
There are always fires. in 1939 the US had 185,000 fires – one every three minutes.

Lack of fires, lack of tornadoes and lack of hurricanes are all totally consistent with AGW (sarc.)
