Lying About Drought

The latest big drought lie is that the 2012 drought is the worst since the 1950s – which is complete nonsense. In 1988 the drought was so bad that they had to shut down the Mississippi River because it ran out of water. They were even talking about diverting water out of the great lakes.

A shocking falsifying test of the current claim: if the drought over the Mississippi basin is so bad, why isn’t the Ole Miss closed for lack of water? It ought to have been if it were epically bad.

I am getting so tired of all of these “historic” claims. They just aired on FOX News a piece about forest fires in Washington, claiming they are “historic” and how this is “the worst fire season on record”, blah blah blah … getting soooooooooo sick of this crap!
