NASA Was Here

Not really, but they pretended to show up for two hours this summer – and then printed one of the biggest lies in their history.

NASA – Satellites See Unprecedented Greenland Ice Sheet Surface Melt

“Ice cores from Summit show that melting events of this type occur about once every 150 years on average. With the last one happening in 1889, this event is right on time,” says Lora Koenig, a Goddard glaciologist and a member of the research team analyzing the satellite data.

This reminds me of the ‘moon landing hoax’. Maybe NASA just ‘extrapolated’ Neil Armstrong’s little walk, from his back yard. 😉

The few hours of melt just firns (yes, it is a verb) and solidifies recently fallen snow and prevents direct sublimation, thereby ensuring more ice build-up than would ordinarily happen.

Interior Greenland has accreted megatons of snow and ice over the past decades, and the (about to be) record September open Arctic provides an abundant moisture source for the Polar Easterlies to pick up and ADD to the snow and ice pack already there.

The annual collapse of the Northern Jet around the polar region will augment those Easterlies. More stilts will be needed for Summit Station to keep above the snow!
