In line with the veracity-free Obama White House philosophy, NOAA has taken climate fraud to new levels this year. They added three degrees on to YTD temperatures (relative to 100 years ago) to get 2012 up to the #1 spot.
Measured temperatures in the US this year have actually been almost a full degree cooler than 1921 and 1936, even with massive UHI contamination of the temperature record.
It’s amazing the adjustments are allowed, it obvious manipulation of data for a specific outcome.
Fraud;
Noun:
1. deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage.
2. a particular instance of such deceit or trickery: mail fraud; election frauds.
3. any deception, trickery, or humbug: That diet book is a fraud and a waste of time.
4. a person who makes deceitful pretenses; sham; poseur.
Let’s hope this leads to NOAA being funding free. It would be a just result.
It is “interesting” how temperatures were “correct” in the early years of this century but quickly went rogue in recent years and required adjustment to show the “true” warming that they knew was there.
Romney should make immediate abolishment of NOAA one of the center pieces of his campaign. That agency is so rife with corruption that it needs to be rebuilt from scratch.
FYI – The “Servicemembers Civil Relief Act” now covers NOAA employees, specifically. There’s another Obama slap in the face of our best citizens. Truly disgusting.
There will soon be no more space for the wildly increasing future adjustments to temperatures being made by NOAA and the graph will have to be massively expand to fit them on. It shows what can happen when the fox is in charge of the hen-house. Either that or people are becoming worse and worse at reading thermometers.
Interesting article from Professor Eastbrook. You may have already seen this.

I can’t believe they actually cooled the 1930’s. Typical Hockey Stick nonsense.
Well there is one thing about this. It makes it harder for 2013 to exceed the adjusted 2012 now. So it will likely require an even bigger adjustment next year. Exposed. I’d say.
