In 1886, the US was hit by a record seven hurricanes, including two major hurricanes. Your family ate way too many beans that year, and caused the disaster. I consider them to be guilty of climate crimes.

  1. They ate lots of butter and salt back then too. That must have been it! Their bodies emitted more CO2 because they were healthier than us!

    Our climate is very sensitive to any addition of vehicular CO2.

    Benz patented his car on January 30, 1886, and that spring, it was seen on the streets of Mannheim. Throughout 1886 and 1887, Benz further developed his design, making his first sale in 1887.

    It looks like all 7 hurrucanes hit the US Gulf coast. Could you imagine how nuts today’s media would go? The alarmists would all be squealing like stuck pigs.

    1893 was pretty bad to for US landfalling hurricanes – 4,000 killed by two of them alone.

    The 1893 Cheniere Caminada Hurricane was one of the first to receive an official Cat 4 designation on the modern scale.
