Why does Drudge hype this crap all the time?
Advertising money. People like the idea of catastrophic disasters – disaster movies sell.

So, essentially, 9 degrees of cooling in only 79 years? We’ll be in an Ice Age by 2050.
uh, okay, 100 yrs. Catastrophe averted. We have until 2060 now.
Is that the new Death Valley site or the one at Furnace Creek? They installed a new site at Bad Water some time in the 90s and it is at the lowest elevation in the continental US.
… and it’s right at the foot of a huge west-facing cliff with lots of nice hot rock in the afternoon.
But naturally! How else could they have gotten the CORRECT readings!
