Overpeck 1990 : Global Warming To Make Trees Fall Over
This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Bookmark the permalink.
It is remarkable that these kooks have any credibility at all, after all these years of failed predictions.
I think Overpeck was Overdoingit. What has global warming done to the boreal forests since the end of the Little Ice Age?
Must have had a Bong back in the day too.
Environmental science has proven that trees fall over 1.13163162% more frequently due to global warming. (Unfortunately they grow back a few % faster due to the increase in CO2. But let’s not worry about that.) The real concern is that when they fall over, CO2 accelerates their collusion with the ground. Computer modelling has shown this. And this can have an adverse impact on the living conditions of dung beetles. Or something. 😉
If a tree falls in the forest and no climate expert is there to hear it, does it make any noise? What about the tree?
Wow are they smart:
“Previous computer projections have shown that changes in temperature and rainfall could affect the growth of forests.”
Brilliant, just brilliant. This shows just how important computers have become in gaining knowledge.
You should be able to Google up a pic of “drunken forests” easily enough.
