Arctic alarmists have been hysterical this summer about an imaginary hole in the ice near the North Pole which was going to swallow the climate and kill us all. Here is today’s view :
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Looks like a slushy composed of 20 mile ice chunks, maybe even a few Manhattans.
Is that the hole in the Artic ice that nuclear submarine U.S.S. Skate surfaced through in 1958? Must not be since there’s so much more ice that in the 1958 pictures.
I read that as:
“Arctic assHole Update”
I thought it was about the rowers.
Southern Brazil suffering with big cold. Three states: Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and ParanĂ¡. See the pictures http://www.metsul.com/blog2012/
Australia and New Zealand have been hit with cold, as has Antartica (colder than usual, that is). I’m guessing this will be a cold winter in the northern hemisphere as well.

Ah the memories. Farging Iceholes. Corksuckers.
Thanks for the laugh!!
and here is an interesting comment about the record cold in the 2013 Arctic summer,
“… this is the coldest arctic summer (N. of 80N) in at least 60 years, according to the DMI dataset. We have the below average temps/counter-clockwise flow around the arctic compacting the ice along the Alaskan/Canadian portion of the basin. Also the increased cloud cover associated with the low pressure/Vorticism maximum is reducing insolation at the surface, while pushing the ice further from the pole where it can reflect more of the incoming radiation at lower latitudes.
While this is a short term detriment to extent, this is both trapping multi-year ice/allowing the current year’s ice to build, and reducing the energy budget via albedo effectiveness….”

Increased cloud cover and less winds is all we need for a quick recovery, and it is happening.
That is what I have pointing out. Things are much worse for alarmists than they understand … yet.
They will just change the subject again, and lie about something else
I see what’s happening – it’s all gonna slide to the bottom of the screen.
My god.. it’s full of stars..
