The heat blast may have passed its peak. Unless the zealots get an intern to sit in the desert today with a bunsen burner on the thermometer, it doesn’t look like a record.
Climatology is now like playing craps in Vegas. They’re crossing their fingers for records, which obviously won’t come.
On the BBC in the UK, sometimes they talk about “record temperatures”, and sometimes “near record temperatures”, apparently without understanding the difference.
The official high at Death Valley was 128, which is impressive but still 6 degrees from their all time high of 134. The heatwave has peaked, can’t see a spike into the 130’s at this point.
I think Drudge is a “closet” liberal.

Some suggest that it’s for “advertising revenue” that half the time Drudge acts like a mini clucking Chicken Little. No, I think he’s a closet warmist.
Funny how other than Drudge it seems that most of the pushers of gwarming are hard leftist ideologues like Barbara Boxer and that leftist nutcase Ed Markey running for senate in MA as a “climate change candidate.” Sad..

There is some good news from Alexa, this blogs traffic is up 80 percent in the last week. I am sure it is just a coincidence but this rise started about the same time I showed up.

I think Reggie probably meant well, Mike. He was simply trying to point out an apparent fact that 1 in 5 of us had been reading Drudge sometime before coming here, probably to see what kind of bs Drudge has up.
Does it make anyone wondering why, whenever you have someone who supports warming, you never really get intelligent arguments. Instead you get hysteria over summer weather events. Then these very same people claim winter weather should not be confused with climate.

These people claim “science is on their side” and there is a major contradiction at the heart of their philosophy. Might this be why they are losing this battle? People are catching on to this stupidity.

It’s really sad that we could have a 50 page dissertation giving all the reasons that the fear mongering Chicken Littles are full of it, and a warmist charlatan says “hey, it’s hot out, and look at Venus!” and in half a heartbeat our case is tossed out the window.
