Flash flood on Tue. at Placerville and Sawpit with several snow plows removing debris. Looks like flooding at Ophir and Alta today @ 3:00 pm.
Watching the radar, there is no movement on the storms. That is the same pattern the caused the Big Thompson Canyon flood the killed 139 people. The flood occurred on July 31, 1976 during the cold PDO cycle.
The Spring Creek flood in 1997 in Fort Collins was similar.
