The Drought That Ravaged US Crops Is Only Going to Get Worse | Mother Jones
And now :
Corn futures tumbled to a 33-month low as forecasts for cool, wet weather improved prospects for a crop expected to be a record in the U.S., the world’s biggest grower. Wheat fell to a one-year low, and soybeans declined.

Worse, they are willing carriers, hoping for a fatal pandemic.
Time to hug a cuddly little Polar Bear

This must have been one of those imaginary bears because Polar Bears can’t survive without ice.
Good catch! The photo in the article must be photo-shopped – polar bears can’t live without ice! /sarc
From what I am hearing out of some areas of the mid-Atlantic states, we might have the opposite problem. They have had so much wind and rain that the grain crops developed very large and heavy heads and the wind has blown the stalks over and a lot of it is lying on the ground where it rots. We might have a problem of reduced yields due to too much rain in some areas.
Oddly enough, I was just out walking past some of the local cornfields, and saw some portions of the corn flattened. But the effect seems to be on the boundaries; in the deep of the field, the corn stalks would tend to support each other, would they not? They are fairly densely packed.
Oh, oh. If that happens, they’ll probably claim it was due to continued drought.
Plus, Greenland is melting again. We’re all gonna die

(A bunch of ‘scientists’ from the American Astro-comical Society singing “Fund-me! Fund-me” – there may be a double-entendre hidden in there somewhere – but I wouldn’t even go there! – find a sick-bag first)
The focus for scientists these days is something other than finding-out about stuff.
Saw it on ‘Arctic.io’. No idea why he posted it – maybe he thought it was cool.

Yes, we know.
