Caution : It is all thin, rotten, decayed ice.

My skates are ready
The picture indicates it was taken at 13:02, i.e. right around the peak solar insolation for the day. Those are very long shadows being cast by the marker.
There isn’t any time of day at the north pole.
There is NO Time ZONE at the North Pole.
It is not at the North Pole and the clock would be GMT / UTC / World Time.
Web cam is currently located at 85N, 3W, so the picture was taken when the Sun was at its highest altitude in the sky (about 22 degrees at this time of year).
I read someone saying the water had drained through a hole in the ice. I thought it had just become refrozen (is that a word?). Was anyone monitoring the temperature and/or pics to know for sure?
And yet somehow this is BAD news for the hockey team.
The pullers are pulling into Paulatuk! It seems the wind is in their favor.

The water drained away quite rapidly. It didn’t refreeze, as the lower part of the buoy, which was hidden, reappeared. The ice surface that reappeared was lumpy. It may have drained down through a thin crevasse that still shows as a straight line, from the lower right to behind the buoy:
