Vermont Senator : All Scientists Say That We Have To Immediately Eliminate Carbon

Forget al-Qaida. According to the Senate’s only openly socialist member, the country’s main national security threat is global warming.

In fact, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders told Playboy magazine that climate change is a bigger threat to the U.S. than al-Qaida. Sanders is an independent who caucuses with the Democrats.

Sanders blames “hypercapitalism” for the inaction on global warming, due to the fossil fuels industry manipulating the political process to drown out efforts to cut carbon dioxide emissions.

You have the entire scientific community saying we have to be very aggressive in cutting greenhouse gas emissions,” Sanders said in the interview. “Yet you’re seeing the heads of coal companies and oil companies willing to sacrifice the well-being of the entire planet for their short-term profits. And these folks are funding phony organizations to try to create doubt about the reality of global warming.”

Sanders: Global warming more dangerous than al-Qaida | The Daily Caller

I am getting really upset waiting for my big fossil fuel check. Liberals keep telling me that it’s in the mail, but I never receive it.

JP Morgan Chase to limit cash withdrawals, prohibit all outgoing international bank wires, bank officials say

In an apparent effort to front-run official government capital controls, JP Morgan Chase has issued letters to all its business account holders notifying them that as of November, 17 the bank will limit all cash transactions (including deposits, withdrawals, and ATM usage) to $50,000 per month, and will prohibit all outgoing international bank wires. JP Morgan Chase later disclaimed, however, that the news that the bank is exerting new capital controls on certain bank accounts are an overreaction to a “streamlining” and “derisking” process.

I’m getting my checks from Big Oil for being pro carbon, Steve. Yours must still be in the mail.
I’m always amazed that people can be elected to the Senate and say things to stupid that a box of rocks would come in third in a stupid contest with them. Sanders has to take up the first two places. I’m also amazed that anyone would give in credence to that.

The US is run into the ground by retards like that.
    Tar and feathers please.

Where exactly does one find ‘hyper-capitalism’? All I’ve seen is hyper-taxation and hyper-regulation.

  5. When I was living in Vermont in the 90’s Bernie Sanders was calling himself a communist. I guess he changed the name to democommie socialist or something. Vermont is so full of stoned hippies he won the election. He could run on the Phish party and win.

I was living in Vermont in the90s and I still own a house there. I can only recall then congressman Sanders calling himself a socialist but the rest of us called him a communist.

  6. Don says:

Don’t blame him, blame the electorate. But someone should tell born in NY Bernie that he’s carrying around a whole lot of carbon, and as well that every time he exhales out comes CO2.

  7. Yeah! I recieved my absentee ballot from my town in Vermont in email on Friday. I haven’t a clue as to whom I can in good conceince cast my votes. This might be a 100% write-in year…
