Does anyone know whether any commercial ships made it through the NW passage this year? Also, does Russia report how many ships went through the Northern Sea Route?
There were several holiday cruise ships but I’m not sure both made it through and I believe one has an ice breaker escort.
Look around on neven’s site … start here and I’m certain you will find your answers: http://neven1.typepad.com/blog/2014/09/ever-sailed-to-85n.html
The cruise ship is scheduled for 2016.
I was referring to the National Geographic ship for 2014 … I’m pretty sure it went through … maybe twice.
Hehe, when the Arctic ice will be *above normal* again? 🙂
This is a useless blog post. State your sources and put up a graph of the sea ice measurements for the last 30 years (from a reputable source). Cherry Picking at its best, what a waste of time.
Perhaps you are useless?
