Moron In The White House Can’t Take A Hint

“There are too many Republicans in Congress who even deny the basic scientific fact that climate change is occurring and something that policymakers should be concerned about,” said Earnest. “So the president will use his executive action to take some additional steps.”

Obama: Climate Change Remains Priority No Matter How Many Deniers in Congress » EcoWatch

The basic scientific fact is that the Democrats nearly got wiped off the map on Tuesday. Please keep up your idiotic behavior, Mr. President.

  1. Anything is possible says:

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and limps like a duck, it must be a president nearing the end of his term with the other party controlling both the Senate and House of Representatives.

  2. Pathway says:

The President has a mental disorder call narcissism. He see himself as the center of the universe and is only happy when someone is paying attention to his wants and needs. He couldn’t wait to get in front of the camera with his pen and a phone.

    • BobW in NC says:

What’s so interesting is that Obama’s pathologic narcissism was noted before the 2008 election – very long article, but absolutely consistent with Obama’s denial of the massive humiliation from Tuesday’s “shellacking.” Where will he go from here, and what will he do? Martial law would not surprise me.

  3. Andy DC says:

There should be Congressional hearings exposing the whole stinking hoax, including the blatant data tampering and downright fraud.

  4. nielszoo says:

    That’s “morons” plural.

  5. geran says:

He believes CO2 can heat the planet.
He believes the atmosphere acts as a “blanket”.
He believes the atmosphere is a “greenhouse”.
He believes the science is settled on the above.
He believes in insulting those that do not agree with him.

    • There is no question that greenhouse gases warm the lower layers of the atmosphere. Are you trying to make Obama look smart?

      • geran says:

If you like your Bad Science, you can keep your Bad Science…

      • KevinK says:

No, actually the Sun heats everything. All the other passive materials (water, gas, rocks) are just along for the ride and re-transfer (at different velocities) the “warmth” through the system until it escapes to the energy free vacuum of space.

No correlation between temperature and “GHGs” means no causation.

      • KevinK says:

        Steve/Tony, just an additional thought for you;

Consider a poorly terminated electrical transmission line, energy flows from the source (original source of all the energy in the system) to the load (passive receptor of energy).

Improper termination causes some of the energy (EM field/voltage/current) to be reflected away from the load, it then hits the source and is reflected away a second time. Then it arrives at the load AGAIN which causes “warming”/”absorption”. Is that an “energy gain” ?

The “GHE” is similar in many ways to a poorly terminated transmission line, except in the optical wavelengths, not the electrical wavelengths/frequencies.

A “back-reflection” from the source does indeed “warm” the load, but it cannot raise the average temperature.

The “Greenhouse Effect” is a mirage/optical illusion/chimera. If you only look at a few locations in the overall system it is easy to fool yourself into believing that a “net energy gain” is occurring.

        Cheers, Kevin.

      • KevinK says:

        Ok, just to expand on my last comment a bit;

In a perfectly terminated electrical transmission line all of the energy from the source is transferred to the load (except for some lost to heating in the transmission line losses).

In a poorly terminated transmission line some of the source energy is transferred to the load, some is lost to the normal transmission line losses and some is “bouncing back and forth” in the transmission line and subsequently lost as heat in the transmission line.

In no case is any “extra energy” present. All of the source energy goes someplace (the load and/or distributed along the transmission line).

The “GHE” simply changes the distribution of energy in the gaseous atmosphere, given the minimal thermal capacity of those gases the average temperature of the “rock” known as the Earth does not change.

        Cheers, Kevin.

        • KevinK says:

          Steve;

“There is no net gain in energy. Temperatures near the surface are increased. Don’t claim that I said things I didn’t say.”

Sorry, you did not claim “a net energy gain”, but it has been a commonly used term.

Perhaps temperatures near the surface are increased. Observational evidence ?

          Cheers, Kevin.

        • Humid or cloudy nights are warmer than clear ones.

        • Robertv says:

Cloudy days (when the sun is above the horizon in summer) are colder. People on the beach don’t like it.

So cloudy 24/7 would cool or warm the Earth?

        • geran says:

KevinK is correct in his explanations.

I think most Lukewarmers just get confused with temperature. A “temperature” is not a normal “number”. Temperatures do NOT add. For example, Steven, say you are in your kitchen with 5 oranges on the table. A neighbor comes over and brings you 3 more oranges. You now have 8 oranges (5+3 = 8). Quantities add, just as numbers.

Now, say you are in your kitchen with a cup of coffee that is at a temperature of 150 ºF (65.5 ºC). This time, your neighbor comes over with an identical cup of coffee, at the same temperature. You decide to pour both cups into a large bowl. Does the temperature of the bowl now rise to 300 ºF (131 ºC)? NO! Does the temperature of the combined coffee even go up a tenth of a degree? NO! Temperatures do NOT add.

When the IPCC says “back radiation” will warm the Earth, they are saying temperatures add. That is just ONE of the reasons IPCC “science” is Bad Science.

Steven, if you still don’t understand, at least please refrain from making statements like this: “There is no question that greenhouse gases warm the lower layers of the atmosphere.” A statement like that just indicates you do not understand the science. Even if you do not understand, you do not have to agree. But, in that case, a suitable statement would be “The science is not settled”.

The Earth has no “greenhouse”. The Earth has no “blanket”. The atmosphere does not heat the planet, the atmosphere cools the planet. Excess heat moves from Earth’s surfaces through the atmosphere to space. Every second, 24-7, Earth receives more heat energy from the Sun than it needs. There is an over abundance of heat. Yet, every second, 24-7, Earth’s cooling mechanisms easily handle that excess heat. The atmosphere is just ONE of such cooling mechanisms.

When you uncover fraud and deceit in the historical temperature record, understand that you are on the side of “real science”. CO2 can NOT heat the planet!

I keep searching for just one other person capable of understanding what written between the lines of those two physical properties of atmospheres. Maybe you are the one. Maybe KevinK?

I cannot predict when, but I’m certain Earth’s heat source will reveal itself, even to the moron in the White House.

I’m waiting for some sort of event so they can declare a state of emergency. Let’s hope I’m wrong.

Robertv, that’s easy. They will just bring back some Ebola infected health workers to the US and not insist on any quarantine procedures … crisis created.

  9. ralphcramdo says:

Alarmist should note that in 2007 Democrats held the majority in Congress and did NOTHING about global warming/climate change.

    • gofer says:

The same with immigration. They only want to use them to try and humilate Republicans. It just shows how stupid they think their voters are.

    • KTM says:

Ditto for the minimum wage, ditto for fixing Social Security, ditto for prosecuting Wall Street crooks, ditto for reversing the downtrend in biomedical research funding, ditto for immigration, etc, etc, etc.

This is all political, if they wanted to implement any of these policies they would have when they had one-party rule.

  10. catweazle666 says:

It strikes me that the way things are going, these tossers need to start being a little more careful slinging about their “denier” insults.

Sooner or later, that type of behaviour is going to snap round and bite them in the ass.

      It already has!!!!

      • mjc says:

There is a reason that the symbol for the Democratic Party is a donkey…

Now the question is, just how big a bite is this change over going to be? Will the Republican Congress critters grow a pair and realize they WON and have the ability to actually do something? Or is the ‘leadership’ suffering the same narcissism and over inflated egos as the Moron in Chief?

    • KTM says:

Not when the mainstream media is hurling it at people too. They did it during the CNN interview with the founder of the Weather Channel, and he rebuked them for it. The CNN guy didn’t seem phased at all, not apologetic, not even a bit uncomfortable.

  11. gofer says:

There should be a hearing and Tony should testify and make them choke on their lies.

  12. Send Al to the Pole says:

Two days ago, joy returned to earth. Well, hope, anyway. I read with GLEE that every eco-psycho thing the dimbats have been controlling will soon be handed over to sane human beings. And the truly exciting thing is that state legislatures now are nearly 70% occupied by the GOP. All these states can pass voter ID, crush Klimate Korn legislation, reverse gerrymandering of districts, cut budgets, etc. It’s a beautiful thing.

    • KTM says:

Before the election, liberals pointed to Kansas as evidence that conservative policies don’t work. Governor Brownback was behind in the polls, the Republican Senator was losing to an independent, the Secretary of State was vilified as the worst in the nation, and the voters were sick of the tax cuts and budget deficits and were going to take it out on the Republican state legislature.

Well, Brownback won re-election, as did the US Senator and Secretary of State. The Republicans in the state House expanded their seats by another 5.

I guess the experiment goes on.

If Boohoo Boehner would grow a pair he would realize all he has to do is defund the EPA done and over. Obama has a phone and a pen Boehner has the wallet.

  14. Valerie Jarrett. The President must fire her. She’s worthless. This is no way to lead a country. The President must fire all his aides and advisors. They are worthless. They did not have a single original idea in six years.

Imagine where the Presidency would be if just one of these losers had the foresight of this Russian deputy, Yelena Borisovna Mizoulina during the 2007 campaign?

This election year, hundreds of thousands of healthy Progressive kindergarteners—all with the President’s superior temperament and towering intellect, pant leg perfectly creased—would be remaking America, all Districts at once. Hundreds of thousands of Progressive American women would have no time to despair and doubt their future. Hundreds of thousands of Progressive American men, straight or gay, would be looking after their surrogate families. You can bet they would always go to rallies and polls, mid-term or not. And the United States Postal Service would be the most prestigious governmental agency, restored to its former glory.

It didn’t have to be this way. Let’s start with Valerie Jarrett. This is how it can be done:
