35 Years Of Unprecedented Mann-Made Melting Has Left Sea Ice Normal At Both Poles

Experts say that very complex and divergent Mann-made destructive processes, have caused the ice to be almost exactly normal at both poles.

Further unprecedented human interference may well cause increased normalcy.

“One of these days your sense of humor is going to get you into trouble,” was the warning sent to me from the editor of Geochimicia et Cosmochimica Acta in 1969-70, together with a one-year moratorium on publication of any paper with my name as a author/coauthor.

Climategate emails revealed the reason forty years later, in 2009. Your warped sense of humor is starting to annoy the Wizard of Oz too.

On the other hand, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free !”

    Keep up the good work.

Your use of this quote “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” is quite apt. Only I wish that quote would continue in a way that reveals typical consequences of finding the truth. I think that quote should continue thus: ‘…and until you get set free you’ll probably be very uncomfortable.’

As someone who did my part in providing enough CO2 to help save the polar bears, I’ll be waiting for Al Gore’s “thank you”.

  4. They say all the land ice in Antarctica is melting and freshening the ocean and turning into sea ice. Let’s do the math:

There are 5280 ^3 cubic feet per cubic mile x 7.5 gallons per cubic foot x 8 pounds / 2000 pounds, so there are 4.4 billion tons of ice per cubic mile. There are 20 million square km of sea ice in the donut around Antarctica / 2.6 is 7,700,000 square miles x 15 feet deep / 5280 feet = 21,000 cubic miles of sea ice, at 4.4 gigatons each there are 92,400 gigtatons of sea ice in the donut.

So, 69 gigatons of land ice melts and turns into 92,400 gigatons of sea ice. How does that come about in Laputinland??

  5. Dave N says:

Forget the “you can’t claim Arctic sea-ice is recovering” mantra: alarmists are fully into “this is consistent with CAGW” mode. Perhaps when Chicago is again under a mile of ice they might recant.

      Don’t hold your breath…

Short of an asteroid hitting this ball of mud, everything is ‘humanity’s fault’ (and they’d try to find some way to spin the asteroid impact as our fault, too).

      • nielszoo says:

Well yeah, the radiation that didn’t get off the Earth due to increased Mann made CO2 didn’t make it out to the asteroid belt and heat up the ice out there on the asteroids. The ice is still there so the asteroids are too heavy to stay in stable orbits and that means they could, at any time, come crashing into our perfectly balanced, homogenous, stable planet. This correlation has been incontrovertibly shown in the past when a spike in openings of textile mills in the UK and US started using extra coal and that caused a spike in CO2 in 1907. That is the obvious cause of the 1908 Tunguska meteor blast and anyone who says otherwise is just some kind of anti-science flat Earther.

  6. Psalmon says:

West Antarctica has surplus sea ice. That’s interesting.

Its amassing what all that increased climate “heat” will do, isn’t it!
