Five years later they backed off, and announced that god was not dead, but simply retired

Being the great intellectuals that they are, they surmised that biblical stories like the flood myth were ridiculous.

Fifty years later, they have resurrected the flood myth. The New York Times has determined that man’s carbon sins and greed will lead to a great biblical flood – unless everyone has faith, repents of their denial in climate models, and pays tithes and absolutions. They are aggressively attacking heretics and censoring any ideas which go against their CO2 based religion.

If We Dig Out All Our Fossil Fuels, Here’s How Hot We Can Expect It to Get – NYTimes.com

The tide gauge at Manhattan has been rising at a steady rate of about 3 mm/year since 1860. There has been no acceleration as CO2 levels have increased, and thus show no correlation to CO2.

This apparent rise is due almost entirely to land subsidence, and will require about 30,000 years to achieve what is shown in that picture. At that time, Earth will be well into the next ice age, and sea level will be much lower.

Satellites show little or no global warming for almost 20 years.

New York is having their coldest start to a year on record.

Thus a new religion is born, A religion of complete morons, led by people like the New York Times.

There is something very biblical going on here, but it has nothing to do with CO2.

“When men stop believing in God, they do not then believe in nothing, they believe in anything.”

CO2 provides for all life on this wonderful Earth on which we reside.

If there was a “God” molecule, it would be CO2.

Yet these sacrilegious warmist alarmist heathens demonise it.

We know an ice age will return. We know it is “about due”. And while the last time it tool 2-3k yrs to reach the average ice age temperature, it could take as little as a decade or two to shut down grain belt agriculture due to shorter and more erratic growing seasons. This could start in a few centuries, or a few years; it could even be underway now.

One way to make the inevitable oncoming ice age more deadly to humans is to reduce CO2 levels before it begins. (Agenda 21 anyone?) Colder oceans absorb more CO2. During the last ice age many Amazon rain forests turned to grasslands due to lack of enough CO2 to support tree growth. Obviously enough trees survived then to restart growth when the warm period returned. The ongoing cycle suggests the next ice age will be even colder. Do our “owners” want to reduce CO2 now to increase the dieoff?!

Having almost all “climate science” funding focused on the effects of nonexistent global warming prevents the consideration (let alone implementation) of any plan to eventually produce enough food in tropical zones for the current population to survive the oncoming ice age. The infrastructure required needs to be in place in advance. Once the grain belt fails, hydroelectric rivers are frozen and northern oil production is shut down it will be too late.

Truthfully, H2O gives it close competition and probably would be THEE God molecule with CO2 becing a close second. Or you could combine the two and call Carbonic acid the God Molecule.

I was wondering where he got the “data” supporting the ridiculous 16 F temperature rise. No surprise – the data comes from a model

“Source: Calculations use the carbon-climate response model from Matthews et al. (2009, Nature) to convert cumulative carbon emissions into global mean temperature changes”

In the early 1970’s, California was supposed to fall into the ocean. I personally (due to living there) knew a number of people who believed this most sincerely…BUT DIDN’T MOVE. Others moved to…Arizona! 🙂

This is why I find all the whining about drowning and droughts in California today to be so amusing. They don’t leave! They buy beachfront homes instead.

  4. Steve Case says:

Over all, (1856-2013) the rate of sea level rise recorded by the New York Battery tide gauge has been 2.7 mm/yr. Over the last 30 years, the rate has been 4.15 mm/yr. Acceleration all time is 0.01 mm/yr² and for the last 60 years 0.07 mm/yr².

The comments in the article are hard to read and some are disturbing, like this one:

“The fourth long-term solution is to act on one’s moral obligation to sabotage, degrade and destroy fossil fuel infrastructure wherever and whenever possible.”

There are some seriously disturbed people. Lot of talk about outlawing stuff, like fracking and coal. The word “force” seems to be favored to save the world from the evils of fossil fuels.
