    How horrible a thought.

BTW, three days ago I received an email invitation for an online presentation. The format and objectives suggest global managerial class technocrats aim to merge their efforts into a united brainwashing front with climate change a major focus. (What could go wrong? ;-)) Here’s the invitation:

Dear learners of the course Introduction to Neuroeconomics!

We would love to invite you to the online meeting with Prof. Sergey Guriyev, the ex-chief economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The topic for the guest lecture is “Interdisciplinary research in economics”.
Time and date: February 7th 2020, 6:10 pm (Moscow time, GMT+3).

Lecture Abstract: The lecture traces the emergence of interdisciplinary research agenda in economics and argues that modern academic economics is now unthinkable without its interaction with political science, sociology, law, psychology and cognitive science. Both the methodological revolution that economics has undergone in the last 20 years and the need to design credible solutions to the main social issues (climate change, inequality, migration etc.) drive economics research in the direction of closer cooperation with social and hard sciences. The lecture will pay a special attention on the role of understanding cognitive biases and contribution of neuroscience to studying the role of online media and false news in the recent rise of populism.

BIO of the lecturer: Professor Sergey Guriyev is a professor of economics at the Instituts d’études politiques in Paris (Sciences Po). In 2016-19, he was the chief economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He was a Morgan Stanley Professor of Economics and a Rector at the New Economic School (NES) in Moscow. His work has been published in international refereed journals, including American Economic Review, Journal of European Economic Association, Journal of Economic Perspectives, Economic Journal and American Political Science Review. He has also contributed numerously to columns in the New York Times, Financial Times, Washington Post, Project Syndicate.

    Kind regards, Professor Vasily Klucharev

She does look like she is struggling and needs the help.
The handler could be the model for the Russian stacking dolls; forceful and in control.
The fellow in the middle (protective service) is blowing air through pursed lips, and thinking “I hope I don’t have to carry her to the limo.”

Nancy P. will be 80 toward the end of March. Well past her ‘use-by’ date.

  9. Robert Terrell says:

Just what IS in those drinks she consumes, anyway??

  10. Given that Australia’s security is dependent on a strong, prosperous and free United States, that is indeed a scary prospect. But then, even with a healthy US, we have more than our fair share of woke idiots who will try to “improve” things to the detriment and liberty of all!

  11. David of Aussie says:

    I’ll drink to that

  12. Pedr Davies says:

A deceitful, spiteful, demented drunk. Their last candidate for president wasn’t any better. I doubt ANY person of quality will be nominated this time., either.

demoKKKrats have nothing to offer the US, or humanity in general.

  14. rah says:

Nancy is the perfect symbol for the old democrat establishment. She and her kind have a lot more to worry about than just trying to stop Trump.

Things are really desperate for them right now in their own party. Bernie, surging in the polls, cannot be allowed to be the democrat nominee. So all of a sudden old Barney Frank is appointed to the DNC rules committee and he promptly hires Hillary’s former chief John Podesta! Then those dinosaurs change the DNC rules to allow Bloomberg to be on the debate stage despite not having a following. To take care of the lack of following for Bloomberg their fabricated polls show him jumping from 2% to 14% support in a single week! It’s all so transparent to anyone paying attention.

It really is hilarious! The DNC has to try and tamp down the communist wing of their party. Slow Joe is getting even slower and is damaged goods now because of his corruption coming to light. Mayor Pete ain’t going nowhere and the fake injun is fading fast. So the DNC turns to a billionaire businessman who is a former Republican. Everything the democrats claim to hate! But they gotta screw Bernie again somehow. The AOC wing of the democrat party must be kept in their place and that place is NOT in the leadership.

Like last time I expect Bernie to bend over and take it up the wazzoo. But unlike last time I don’t expect the many of his followers to take it. The democrats unleashed the communists as a tool to try and silence those that oppose them. ANTIFA and their ilk are fine as long as their doing the party’s bidding, but now the monsters which they created may very well turn on them because the hate of the wackos now aimed at Trump and his supporters can easily end up being redirected towards the democrat establishment for this kind of stuff. I would not be surprised if there is outright violence at the democrat national convention this year.

No matter how you cut it the rift in the democrat party is significant and growing and already far worse than when the republican establishment quashed the Tea Party movement.

Those big pearls she wears are expensivissimo. I wanted to buy some for my wife until I saw how much they are – $40,000-50,000.

      • rah says:

They’ll pay Bernie off like last time but his supporters? We’ll have to wait and see. At this time I suspect that mini Mike will end up with the nomination. No matter who gets it Trump is going to pound them. But the key here is also holding the senate so that the packing of the judiciary with conservative justices can continue. Trump has already seated over 190 but really needs to seat another supreme court justice to counter Chief Justice Roberts who is totally unreliable. Also conservative SCOTUS justice Clarence Thomas is getting a bit long in the tooth. As much as admire the man and his judgments, it would be a good thing for him to retire and make room for a younger conservative to take his seat.

  17. Janet Marshall says:

I remember seeing Clinton looking like this during the last elections. They seem to be so full of hate and venom it effects them physically as well as mentally. TRUMP 2020.

  18. tom0mason says:

    Starkle, starkle, little twink,
Who the hell are Trumps I think?
I’m not under what you call
    In the alcofluence of incohol.
I’m just a little slort of sheep,
I’m not drunk like thinkle peep.
And a toast to impeach is me yet!
But the drunker I stand here the longer I get.
So just give me one more fink to drill my cup,
‘Cause I got all day sober to Hillary up.

  19. David of Aussie says:

The U.S. system of ‘justice’ is so corrupt that even the most powerful man in the world can be taken down – for no reason at all – by the permanent Deep State Government criminals who commandeer and abuse it. The sad thing is, that to date, none of them have paid any penalty for their own crimes.

After the President’s Acquittal would be a good time to start.

    • rah says:

I can’t decide if Barr is the real deal or not. If he has a real game plan for a devastating take down the perps or if he is stringing it out and covering for them or will only take out a couple token underlings. Only time will tell. However I do notice that they have a couple of Grand Jurys in session now and you don’t convene Grand Jurys unless you intend to prosecute.

One thing should be obvious to all though. The senate will do nothing a consequence to even investigate the perps. in either the coup or Biden cases. Lindsey Graham is a swamp critter through and through and you can’t believe a word the man says when he claims he is going to take action.

  21. CheshireRed says:

That deranged woman impeached Trump out of spite, nothing else. The UK Guardian called it as clear a breach as is possible to get (I paraphrase) but is now spitting furious feathers as Pelosi’s absurd impeachment process inevitably falls flat.

She’ll have plenty of time to reflect on her hubris over the next 4 years.

  22. Frey says:

Look at these poor people we put in this impossible position, pincered between hostile interests… subjects of constant ridicule and hatred… they put themselves there as well… but we all think it’s normal. Of course they get terribly sick. They age rapidly.

  23. spike55 says:

She and Hillary must be drinking the same hooch !!

  24. rah says:

    Common sense!
All the democrat candidates claim the government should control about every aspect of your life including having full control over your health care. And yet their party can’t even run simple caucuses in Iowa.

(Reality: The DNC old guard was feeling the Berne. Biden sucks. Turnout for their caucuses sucked. They had no choice but to blow the Iowa caucuses up to try and slow Bernie down and hide the decline.)

  25. Disillusioned says:

After shaking her head and sitting during most ovations, the third-stringer just ripped up the POTUS’ speech! No class at all.

    • rah says:

One of the reasons the speech was so powerful besides the presentation and stories. The democrats and their press have spent the last three years trying to destroy the man and expressing their unabated hate for him and all that share his values and support him. Last night the President took the opportunity to express his Love of this country, it’s values, and it’s citizens. The contrast was striking. The small minded democrats made the President look like a giant last night.
