If we don’t find another method for powering vehicles the electric car will be short-lived. Thus far, the materials needed are too rare, expensive, with short useable lifespans, and are not recyclable — same story with wind and solar. The sh-t is going to hit the fan in a few decades.

    • Eli the Pit Bulldog says:

      100% correct.
The raw materials needed to meet the 2030 goals doesn’t even exist on planet earth unless we destroy the earth digging for it.
Ford just announced its giving up on lithium ion battery packs for the new F150 Lightning and will be using lithium phosphate, which is more plentiful, thus cheaper, but there goes the range between charges. Drive the truck 90, miles with a 500 pound payload (3 adults) and you better be looking for a charging station.
Of course the Biden administration doesn’t even think of this….or is on purpose
You’ll own nothing, and be happy with what they allow you to rent

  2. Brad-DXT says:

The green loonies still haven’t done the math. There are not enough of known deposits of lithium, cobalt, nickel, vanadium, or even copper to accomplish their goal of Net Zero.

If they were to try to implement their vision, there would necessarily be the largest expansion of mining in history. Of course mining would be fought against due to environmental destruction.

This is such a lost cause I believe it is cover for other nefarious reasons.

  3. arn says:

Now buying EV’s will become so much cheaper.
And mining with renewable energies will become much cheaper too
and will create millions of jobs as all minerals need to be dug with shovels.

As it never was the goal to replace energy but to crush the economy and the nations everything is fine.
It’s all part of the green new deal, built back better now known as inflation reduction act to fight inflation by inflating money supply on a large scale (climate science logic at work)

  4. Eli the Pit Bulldog says:

Meanwhile Pelosi jetting around in SE Asia getting ready to do some more pump and dump (money laundering)

  5. Dave Ward says:

“If we don’t find another method for powering vehicles”

We don’t need to find another method – present technologies are perfectly adequate. However, we DO need to get rid of “Net Zero” lunacy.

  6. Ivan Wainwright says:

Is Huayou Cobalt the company which is using local child labour in the Congo? If so, it is guilty of a crime against humanity. It is effectively slavery. The children develop respiratory disease and have very short life-spans.

  7. I’m just waiting for some imbecile to suggest horses and oxen. There does not appear to be an upper bound on the sheer stupidity of so-called ‘greens’.

  8. Allan Shelton says:

I believe it will be almost impossible to stop the EV industry.
The NWO crowd has ignored ant science and is going full speed ahead with the EV
    agenda.
BTW Here is a upcoming Canadian battery company.
Rio Tinto bought in for $10 million. They lots of patents.
