Where is prove that 1.5C/3F is the danger limit?
    Why not 4.5C/9F.
    And which dangers?
Could the non existing sea level rise, the non existing decrease in arctic sea ice and polar bears and the lack of hurricane go up by 10%?
How much more are 10%+ from 0?

And why is the danger limit different for Americans and Europeans.
It should be equal for everyone and not that European climate warming limit is 10% lower.

    • Stuart Hamish says:

There is no 1.5 C let alone 2C average temperature rise danger threshold and the global temperature cannot be controlled by phasing out fossil fuels in Western countries regardless ….Temperatures were in that range 7000 – 8000 BP and again 122 000 years ago when atmospheric CO2 concentrations were in the order of 280 -300 ppm

Just because someone has been given a PhD does not mean they’re not insane.

Interesting take on the expression “Just because you’re paranoid, doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you”
I wonder what the stats are for PhDs on anti-psychotics.

    • In my experience, awarding a PhD is no safeguard against stupidity. All too often, it converts a fool into a prig.

In fact It’s a free pass to get away with any crazyness,
because all the crazy, nihilistic and pervert stuff that comes out of ones mouth is no longer crazy and dumb
but a result of enlightened deep thought by an expert.
        The aristocracy of the insane.

i had a few sayings for PhD
      Pile it HIGH and DEEP
      Pirates & Hoes for Dollars
      Pedophile hoes for Dollars

“breakthrough climate legislation…” as opposed to behavior driven by objective reality?

Mikey has to have a chemical problem. That’s only explanation I can come up with for the level of delusion at which he operates.

  4. Gamecock says:

The argumentum ad verecundiam fallacy is popular with climate scientists (though it many not apply here).

Argument from an inappropriate authority. E.g., economics professor telling us the weather is going to change.

So, when you hear PhD, ask, “In what?”
