   I recall the times when Reagan shut down the government. The dims and their media portrayed government workers as desperately poor souls who could not afford Thanksgiving and Christmas without their government paychecks and convinced the elderly their social security checks and medicare would stop.
   They lied
   The resulting outcries forced Reagan to relent – “Well, if that’s what the people want I’ll sign it”and they have been running up the deficit ever since.
   I am hopeful emotional appeals to the stupid no longer work, but I know better

   I am pretty sure that it was just a coincidence that they dropped 1500 page strong monster bill right before Christmas
   to make sure that 99% of the members won’t read anything of it and just vote yes.

       Except that these Lemmings are never the ones that fall from the cliff.
       Only their followers.

       These kind of Lemmings are the Disney producers who forced the Lemmings to jump down the cliffs and then labelled genozide as suicide.

     It’s called good cop bad cop.

     For some reason they haven’t blown any opportunity to go to war.
     As if there is this behavior is systematic.
     But we can at least argue wether to call this style of behavior Republican or Bernie Sanders.
     Too much talk ,too little results.
