Nothing Nuclear Winter Can’t Fix

The New York Times used to be better with their propaganda, when they made an effort to not mix too many topics into incoherent word salad.

“Russia’s Warming Arctic Is a Climate Threat. War Has Shut Scientists Out of It.

Climate science has been stymied as Russia continues its war in Ukraine. The stalled work threatens to leave the West without a clear picture of how fast the Earth is heating up.”

I had no idea The War had spread to the Russian Arctic – that region where the Polar Bears growl with a Russian accent. If Jacob Judah wants to know what’s happening in the Russian Arctic re: The Climate he could do so from the comfort of his own home by reading RCS, no need to travel to northern Alaska. The answer is..nothing. The uncultured bumpkins at The Paper of Record should change their motto from “All the News That’s Fit to Print” to “All the Gibberish That Fits.”

Considering Tucker was able to go to interview Lavrov and Putin in Russia
and that the USA did everything they could to stop Scott Ritter from visiting Russia,
I tend to think that it should be possible for a climate scientist to visit Russia to dig some holes.(especially as the Ukraine border is nowhere near the arctic).

Considering that the USA is permanently at war with someone all the time yet those climate experts never have any problems entering the USA there should be no problem getting to Russia.

Interesting btw is the already integrated Bias in this propaganda piece.
The warming up is sold as fact despite having no clear picture?!?!
They also don’t seem to have access to officially available internet data about Russias polar region nor do they have satellites it seems.

And let’s be clear: Only the west has the capacity, competence and authority to tell the rest of the world about warming, wars, culture etc.

The post-colonial post-industrial West is in rapid decline. Led by the US its only strategy seems to be starting “wars” with vastly weaker opponents and initiating proxy wars against major powers that “we” couldn’t hope to defeat. As Scott said it’s the only thing we are good at. We don’t make anything anymore, the GDP is mainly stuff like “financial services” that produce no real wealth. The DC political and military establishments are a long way from the acceptance stage of the stages of grief re: that the US is now only a regional power in a multi-polar world with an enormous but largely obsolete surface navy, an air force that is a generation behind Russia, and a laughable DEI-infested army. So “we” start fires, the last shriek on our disorderly retreat. Most recently in Syria as the HTS, the re-branded ISIS, in turn the re-branded Al-Quaeda, the worst, meanest, craziest psychopaths imaginable, apolitical and affiliated with no religion, armed trained and organized by Mossad/CIA/MI6, race toward Damascus. A disaster, a sh*tstorm of epic proportions. The media appear to be cheering them on. Of course

“The West” with its many colonies and military bases covers a substantial portion of The Planet, including the non-Russian Arctic. If only we had thermometers and satellites and stuff we could get a clear picture of how fast the Earth is not heating up

  3. Timo, not that one! says:

These people have a lot to worry about. The Russians won’t let them discover the speed of global warming! That’s cause to panic.
All I have to worry about is, imminent, global, thermonuclear Armageddon.

  4. conrad ziefle says:

I thought that the satellites were the end all in climate studies? Who needs access to Russian territory.

  5. Francis Barnett says:

The Russian Arctic ice is melting so fast that Russia is building the world’s largest, most powerful, nuclear powered icebreaker to keep the melting ice sea lanes open all year round.
