Historically, Mass murder always has been solely perpetrated by governments. Although that has recently been expanded to large corporations and wealthy individuals. Limiting government of all levels to 5% of the adult population would solve much of that. And that 5% includes politicians, judiciary, police, soldiers and everyone paid by tax dollars.

As I recall Union Carbide did apologize – “Sorry about that. But, ya know, s**t happens. And at last count there was a surplus of Indians so you’ll be alright. Now bury your dead and let’s all Move On.” So there’s that at least. At first glance I thought this was a photo from Gaza. But most of those who have lost children there will never see their faces again. It’s difficult to dig through tons of rubble with your bare hands.

Well don’t start a war if you want to be safe.

Are you suggesting that Hamas started a war with “israel” on 10/7? Hamas was deeply infiltrated by the IOF which is why they knew about their “secret” plan a year in advance. And of course they were warned by Egyptian and American intelligence. Which is why 3K “Hamas” fighters were able to sneak through the Gaza security fence, the most heavily surveilled piece of real estate on Earth – with 300 hang gliders no less! – in FIFTEEN different places without being detected. And when the IOF did respond it was a mere seven hours later. They were taking an extended bagel break. In the ensuing chaos as many as 80 percent of the casualties were due to indiscriminate IOF fire. In response to this outrageous attack the IOF slaughtered civilians by the tens of thousands, half of them children. One IOF “soldier” was ordered to run over women and children with a D-9 bulldozer. As he explained it “Everything squishes out” before taking his own life. Fortunately israel is a bastion of civilization and democracy, bravely defending Western interests against the subhuman Arab hordes. Sound about right?

Said the guy from the USA who starts wars all the time by claiming that their safety is threatened,
in favor of a country whose operating with the Motto
“By deception thou shall make War”(Levon affair,USS Liberty)
that has been bombing its neighbours
on a daily basis(200+ attacks on Syria only this year)
and that has been sponsoring sponsoring Hamas since its creation(because Hamas means something very different in Hebrew than in arab)

For years Nathanyahu propped up Hamas
        Time of Israel 10/8/23

A brief History of the Nathanyahu-Hamas-Alliance
        Haaretz 10/20/23

“We have restored deterrence with Hamas”
        Nathanyahu 2019

maybe you should dig a little bit deeper.

Hamas was essentially created to divide the loyalties of the Palestinians from PLO/Fatah which eventually morphed into the Palestinian Authority. The Gazans elected Hamas, rejecting the utter corruption of the PA led by the hapless Mahmoud Abbas, a billionaire. Hamas was in many ways the brainchild of Benjamin Miliekowsky who took the name Netanyahu, in Hebrew roughly “God-given”. If so, an evil god. The consummate survivor and very smart – MIT grad. Now it appears that Trump will focus much of his foreign policy attention on “finishing the job” begun by the “obvious stand down” (Paul Craig Roberts) of 10/7, the pretext for the ongoing genocide. New Ambassador to israel Mike Huckabee was there recently and he donned a Make Israel Great Again (MIGA) cap, stating “I’ll make sure President Trump gets one. Yuk yuk yuk.” This came as great news to son-in-law Jared Kushner who has aspirations to build luxury resorts on the beautiful Gaza seashore but only after the IOF “cleans it up”. Digging deeper is not an element of the American character. Most ‘Muricans have never read a book

To be fair our safety was threatened by Grenada. As well by Nicaragua, at the time a highly developed country with two elevators. You neglected to mention 9/11 in your list of Deceptions. And the Jonathan Pollard affair which very nearly started a nuclear war (he’s now back in Iz-Rul, regarded as a hero). Understandable, the Deceptions are legion

Years ago I briefly looked into that disaster, in the sense of reading some of the publicly available information. At the time nobody seemed to have a sensible account of how it had happened – what series of events (or blunders, if you like) had caused it.

The company went so far as to suggest that there might have been sabotage but admitted (I think – this was years ago) that it had no idea why anyone would commit sabotage nor who might have done it nor why. I decided that perhaps the company was run by liars who were seriously incompetent at lying. Maybe their engineers couldn’t come up with a plausible humdrum explanation that the company was prepared to admit to.

The plant was owned 51% Union Carbide and 49% Indian government/Indian public.

The Wokeypedia article tells a tale of widespread rotten decisions that left the plant vulnerable to a simple error. It sounds all too possible (but it is Wokeypedia).

I used to work in the petrochemical industry; WKPD’s depiction of how the plant was run makes my hair stand on end: how could you, you bloody fools? Ideally one shouldn’t build such a potentially dangerous plant somewhere that permits such rotten design and operations management.

Mind you, an old boss of mine would have said that on those grounds you should never build potentially dangerous plant in Texas! Nowadays someone might reach for a Boeing analogy. It reminds me of people telling me how brave I must be to work in the biz “because it’s so dangerous”. “Not if we do it properly, madam” I would reply.

Worse than Chernobyl? Bay City? I would write this up to poor construction standards, safety standards, and probably poorly trained employees. Now, Union Carbide building a plant in a country with poor construction practices, no safety standards, and offering cheap labor might be questionable, but they may have situated the plant there because the was to be supplied in the region, and they were stuck with all those negatives rather than choosing them. Having worked in the petrochemical business, I’m not willing to be quick to judge. Even in well run plants, dangerous situations occur. One summer I worked in a refinery, and one day a fire was reported. My boss and I were in the plant, and he immediately gunned his little scooter and he told as we headed straight for the fire, “In a refinery you race to the fire. You don’t race away, you’ll never outrun it.”
