That gray band over central Missouri, southern Illinois, southern Indiana and a large swath of northern and central Kentucky is unappealing – especially since the timing it coincides with an Arctic blast – we folks living along or near the Mason-Dixon line will likely be dealing with it for longer than what’s usually expected. We are far enough north that we usually get a couple measurable snowfalls per winter season. But, we’re far enough south that it usually melts fast. We get the pretty white stuff, but we generally don’t have to live with all of the nasty for very long. Generally. :?|

The race ice exclusion zone has been shifted north to the latitude of Campbell Island which is about 1300 km south of NZ.

According to Michael Mann, icebergs move toward the Equator with global warming. Maybe Mickey Mann’s problem is dyslexia of logic. Has anyone heard from him since Trump got elected? Is he moving to the UK, where fascism is gaining ground daily?

If “scientists say” and “experts predict” there will be no more snow, then this white, cold, wet stuff we’re experiencing now, can’t be snow. It must be something else.
