My take on this is that t hey must have wanted to dump him for a long time, and this little episode gave them a good excuse. What a moron, so unable to control himself that he blows up a good job and a national reputation ( one way or the other he will drift into obscurity). It seems that leftists assume they are entitled, can do whatever they want, and never have the rug pulled out from under them. I suggest that the FBI keep tabs on him. He is stupid enough to double down into some nefarious antifa-like plot.

his comments on Kirk prove that this is all about activism and politics all over the place.
He also never had problems with Al Gores documentary being wrong about everything
but Trump makes a speech at the UN – and Mann instantly appears to criticize and makes hilarious claim about how damaging Trumps speech was = as damaging as co2 = 0.
And the denial of the 1970ies cooling scare.
It is better to expose the pseudo-science this man promotes than to suppress his freedom of speech. To those who believe in freedom, whose work is mercilessly censored, this is an own goal. People, no matter how repugnant they may be, should not lose their jobs over crazy posts on social media. In Britain we have people serving three year jail sentences for offending certain demographics through ‘hate speech’. That is where celebrating Mann’s fall of grace will lead.
The crime data has the same issues that temerature/weather data does…… poor collection
They are investigating data manipulation by DC police to lower crime data.
Homicides data are pretty hard to manipulate, but property crime are another story
About 10-15 years ago insurance companies quit requiring a police reports (use to verify loss) on property crime in order to collect insurance. After this happened property crimes (reported to police) dropped, but the loss insurance companies reported went up. Then the deductible went up on property loss so people began to not even report the loss to their insurance companies

Did anyone else see the story of the Chinese freighter taking a shortcut from China to Europe and the shortcut made possible by sailing through the Arctic Ocean, which is free of ice thanks to global warming? the story implies that this is the new route… due to man-made global warming. so how stupid do they think we are? isn’t that the case almost every year that a ship can make that Transit in late August or September. but that’s all. take a look at the weather forecast for Alert Canada over the next week. average temperature is about 5° f. doesn’t water freeze at 32? and ocean salt water at about 28? seems to me those ships will be trying to plow through a lot of ice in the next couple weeks… and they know that so that’s the end of the Arctic route until next August.
