As an outdoor/physical fitness/cycling nut, Columbia, Md. is just about perfect for me. So what am I doing here?
I write software which helps the NSA and US military defend the country from external enemies. In my spare time I write blog posts to defend America from progressives, climate activists, and its other internal enemies.
I always had a negative opinion of Columbia, because my favorite golf couse was destroyed to make way for it, a place where I had countless hours of enjoyment.
That course (Allview) was played by the great Bobby Jones back in the early 1930’s. There used to be a picture in the clubhouse of him playing there back in the early 1930’s. To me it was like destroying a shrine or sacred place.
Also, it seemed to have its own micro climate, always felt less oppressive there in summertime than the DC area golf courses.

Thank You for both your work and your blog!
And you are certainly doing a very good job with this blog. Big Hat Tip! … and a very heartfelt Thank You!

Great, how much do you deadlift, squat and bench?
Maryland’s gain is our loss in Colorado, Tony, but thanks to Real Science you are available to all.
Best wishes in all your endeavors
I’m working towards an arrangement where I split my time between Colorado and Maryland. It is possible I may end up living in Boulder, as one of my kids wants to go to CU.
I would like it.
Low or no electricity usage will be a must for city residents as People’s Spark Energy takes over and starts rationing but you are ready and the begonia won’t have to worry about further climate change. You may need a mountain bike for city usage. The Progressive priorities seem to already affect bicycle commuting:
Hope your young-‘un still qualifies for in-state tuition at CU. The out-of-state rates are staggering!
But you know that already.
Despite the profusion of foggy-brained libs here, Boulder remains a pretty lovely spot on the planet.
cheers, Jim
So you work for and against the oppressive system. Ever thought why the US has so many enemies? Maybe because of your ‘freedom’ . People hate freedom.
Haha. I worked for INSCOM in a past life.
Enjoy.
Thank you from across the pond. Lang may your lum reek. That just means”may you always have fuel to keep your home warm”.

Serious question; In your opinion what is the likely capability of China to disrupt the US high-tech weapon systems with viruses and other cyber warfare tools?
I’ll settle for living in Beer City, USA!

What happens when the government decides “climate deniers” are “terrorists” and that software finds a new purpose against an internal enemy?
Here’s another thought: what happens when they have already done so? Answer: they say to themselves, We have to get the Stevens of the planet under our wing, because the closer we keep them to us, the less of a threat they can be, and frankly the less chance that they will even want to be a threat any more!
