Uppity Tea Party Member Asks Obama An Unscripted Question

Ryan Rhodes, a group leader in the Hawkeye State, stood up and shouted a question during a town hall asking the president how he can call for more civility when “your vice president is calling people like me, a Tea Party member, a ‘terrorist.'”

Obama, who had not called on the man, said the town hall wouldn’t work “if you just stand up when I asked everybody to raise their hand”

Notice he never answered it either. The one amusing part of the video is that unlike 08, where he basically told Joe to STFU, this time he had to mumble his unintelligent way through a response.

  2. DERise says:

That sounded like a terrorist threat from a mean nasty teabagger, I’m supprised the obummer didn’t have the SS gun him down like the dog he thinks they are. I guess that will come after they either:
    a) steal or
    b) suspend
    the election

I hadn’t heard this one, thanks!

What an excellent question for Dumbo. Perfect.

And what a classic unscripted flustered response from the child-in-chief.

Lol, well, by all means, don’t answer the question. We need more civility from those terrorist, gun toting, Bible clinging, tax hating, stingy, conservatives.

I believe that’s what B.O. wanted to say.

  5. Sundance says:

the Obama team’s use of terrorists to describe those that disagree with them is just recycled crazy speak from the “Bush is a terrorist” conspiracy nut jobs that claimed Bush was “in on” 911 prior to the 2004 election. It seems that Obama’s team (what’s left of them) has no ideas and have sunk to a level that has them recycling the “Bush is a terrorist” crazy speak for the 2012 election. Such a tactic will likely be effective for the far left fringe types that follow Marxist Moulitsas at the Daily Kos, but I doubt that those Americans that are not a part of the rabid far left will be influenced by such nonsense. It could also backfire say if in some future debate if Obama is questioned on why his administration is calling those worried about the debt ceiling, jobs and the economy, terrorists.

    He is a smooth stutterer.

  7. “tea-rorist”, shurely?

Somehow, I don’t think Sykes hoping Obama’s (or any leftists) kidney’s fail would go over well if she were giving a show in front of a bunch of conservatives. And I can’t see Bush (any Bush) having a comedienne attack left leaning media types at one of his get togethers. Did he?
