What is it with libtards’ obsession with left vs right wingnut thing? It means nothing because every country has different view on it. Totally useless. Libtards always use Hilter as an example for “right wing” but in reality, Democrat Party is much closer to Nazi Party ideology.

    • gator69 says:

Nazis were all about big government, and that is a PROGRESSIVE ideal. Problem is we have progressives in both parties now.

      • squid2112 says:

“National Socialist German Workers’ Party, commonly known in English as the Nazi Party”

      • phodges says:

Well that is just completely wrong.

Progressives opposed corporate power, specifically corporate power over the state.

The Progressive Party was in fact founded by a REPUBLICAN. Was Teddy Roosevelt a socialist?

People as diverse as William Jennings Bryan and Teddy Roosevelt were considered progressives… what they had in common was they were fighting the establishment of Fascism, the corporate state. Which is, yes, a form of socialism.

        Too bad they failed.

        • gator69 says:

          Where did I say “corporate”?

Progressives believe the ends justify the means and will sleep with anyone.

  2. Pathway says:

And the Nazis got their idea of eugenics from that great American progressive, Margret Sanger.
Mother of Planned Parenthood and the death of 50 million American children.

  3. Fred from Canuckistan says:

Libtards . . . Because a political party called National Socialists must be right wing.

Reggie (a.k.a. “the torch”) seems to have a burr in his paw … maybe just got up on the wrong side of his bed.

  5. Andy DC says:

Naturally, the self-proclaimed rowers are going to be hopping all around, trying to avoid the ice. They can run, but can’t hide forever.

  6. slimething says:

When will the 1000 ft freighters be using the NWP?

  7. Brad says:

There is another link on that site, How to upset a global warming skeptic. In it are screen shots of this blog site. They appear to be having inane fun at your expense but at the same time promoting your site. Is that ironic or a coincidence?

The Tuk weather is anything but nice with the next week barely over freezing and windchill under freezing. The boys maybe spending a lot of days huddled in that cabin. I think the cold and wind blew Reggie’s blow torch out 😉

  9. ACR says:

40 kmh winds. Sounds impressive until I remembered that Canada uses metric miles. That’s 25 normal m.p.h. Noticeable winds, I guess.

That said, Tuktoyaktuk is currently reporting 17-18 m.p.h. winds (or 28 kmh).

  10. philjourdan says:

You made the big time! Now the reason they are failing is because of your voodoo!

Bush is going to be jealous.

  11. hazze says:

It aint over until the fat ladies sinks

  12. …how about a Homer/Hansen with his axe, standing in a bush…or with an OAR–YES! On the ice! (You’re going to lose out, in the long run, if you don’t market this right…just sayin’.)

  13. They should send us a photo or two of all that open water and the intrepid team rowing against that howling wind, no photshops please.

  14. Chewage says:

The goal of the rowing team is to bring awareness of climate change and the massive sea ice melting that civilized mankind has brought to the earths poles.
I sincerely thank the team for making me so much more aware of the perils that face us, namely in believing political scientists who use their propaganda and money to influence the scientific community, which we’ve been warned about for many decades. The awareness brought by their shining of the spotlight on corrupt group thinking socialists is spectacular and I hope they continue with their adventurous mission until they can go no further:)
Team Twisted need all the media attention we can get them!

  15. Andy Oz says:

Hopefully the rowing team don’t end up like this while Reggie and Johnny are on the case.

  16. There Is No Substitute for Victory says:

If anyone has any doubt that Nazism and Fascism are close to if not identical to Democratic Socialism here is your proof.
    http://www.historyplace.com/worldwar2/riseofhitler/25points.htm
This link is to the 1920 platform of the NAZI party. All 25 planks of the Nazi platform are pretty well identical to the 2012 Democrat party platform or with Democrat party activist with the exception of the Democrat’s current immigration policy.

In fact FDR carried on a long private correspondence with Benito Mussolini. From the way that Roosevelt wrote to Mussolini you would think that FDR thought that el Duce was the most enlightened ruler in the world (after FDR himself)
