I think he has the main point exactly right, a coup of the bureaucracy, by the bureaucracy, and for the bureaucracy. And the media, the fourth estate is the fifth column.
They have much practice at this, having used various strategies to eject non-players like Nixon, Oliver North, Ed Meese, and countless others, in short anybody that is not with the program. They only really failed with booting Reagan but it was not for the lack of trying.
The point about the Second Amendment is important, but guess what? They are just going to wait out the Supreme Court. They are two heartbeats away from domination. In the meantime they are consolidating power in the Senate membership and rules to pave the way for smooth sailing for whatever leftists that the Communist-in-Chief appoints.
So the thrust of that article is true, and perhaps understating it. America is very nearly over. The sheeple outnumber the normal people, at least at the polls, and the bureaucracy plays them like a fiddle.
There are only two things left now barring complete surrender to the progressives …
(1) A whole slate of Constitutional Amendments that strip the government to the bone and straitjackets any future malignancy. But this may not be possible now because it only takes 13 states (ironic huh? thirteen original colonies) to block an Amendment and I can see 13 today who will do this, unlike say in 1988. Also, we have had many of our purist friends worrying more about a Constitutional Convention than the actual actions of the enemy leftists. Thanks a lot guys.
(2) Revolution II. And this is not pretty. And it would only work if the patriots stop thinking DC is the enemy. It is not like capture-the-flag. DC is a symptom, not the disease. The patriots would have to think outside the box and remember who sent those enemies to DC and make sure it cannot happen again. Nuff said.
