Record summer cold forecast for the Beaufort Sea this week.
An Arctic hurricane approaching

And the rowers are stopped at the worst possible place for a storm surge – in a boat which can’t deal with wind.
Sad to say it but I smell a Darwin Award.
4 Rowers with Progressive Blindness Virus:

How many rowers is a single kayaker expected to rescue?
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of guys
They will say it was the wind, not the ice that stopped them. A good excuse to keep the agenda going.
Ice still not melting to the north.

There is another group of rowers, this one backed up with a sail, that is attempting the same journey and is a few hundred kilometers behind. http://www.beyondthecircle.com. I wonder how sails do in 90 mile an hour winds.
Amazing. 4 People in the rowboat, 2 in the kayak and 2 in the sailboat.
We just need an ice breaker and tow them to their destination. 😉
Well at least the bears diet may have some variation this fall but there may not be much nutritional value to the rowers, kayakers and sailors since I imagine they are stuffed with GLO-BULL warming BS 😉
There is a worm that burrows into the brain of large animals in Africa and makes them go around in circles until they die. I’m concerned that it is spreading to humans and all these guys have been infected.
I find it odd that they stopped transmitting their location at 9:25 am yesterday out in the bay:
Last First Unit 1

Their posted story doesn’t seem to match their tracking history.
Where’s Waldo ?
Are the rowers just sitting at this time … they seem to not want to provide much information on their site?
And Mainstream administrators deleted an entire section with ongoing discussions, current posts, and “cautionary reprimands”… talk about censorship…
With backup support like that, these guys are running blind.
FORWARD !

The trouble is that they can’t even row back if they wanted to.
The boat is almost useless.
They are stuck.
Moronic.
A friend in Norway had a wooden boat about the same size as the “Joule” with a small 1 piston diesel engine with variable propeller that would run all day on a liter of diesel.
It clipped along at a remarkable pace for its size and handled swells well.
I would have included one in the design for emergency use and an escape from trouble.
Well worth the extra weight.
It’s called “A Backup Plan”.
You can never have too many backup plans.
A true believer in AGW needs no backup plan. They laugh at sissy backup plans. They “know” that there is no reason to fear that wall of rotten, slushy ice coming their way. They “know” Reggie’s Brawndo Blowhard Blowtorch will melt all that ice and make the Northwest passage into a smooth rowing pond where they can make record time crossing the ice-free Arctic.
After all, the models have been predicting no ice in the Arctic for years, and they believe >/b>in those models. This is the gospel according to AGW Saint Al the Gore.
It appears they moved. Anyway, is it a success if they drag the boat over land? I thought the whole idea was to navigate the NW Passage all on water?
They need to make up some lost time and with a blackout, the towed vessel appears to have been working hard the whole time…
FrankenStream continues…It’s Alive ! It’s Alive !…

they must have been struck by lightning.
Reggie? Reggie? Reggie?
They may be batshitcrazy but I feel a grudging admiration for them…
Around the peninsula and finally into the Beaufort Sea. My the Lord have mercy.
They could be making for the Horton River airport.
