He said, “No,” in January 2012. End of story.

All the chatter since ignores reality.

Link please … it is still being reviewed from what I read. What is different about Keystone that Obozo can’t sign off on it vs the 2 million miles of existing oil and gas pipelines?

      • Gamecock says:

Link ?!?! Are you kidding? Reviews are a pipe dream. Barry Soetoro can approve it any day he wants to. He can not approve it any day he wants to. His position has not changed since he said no, and there is NO REASON to believe he will ever change his mind.

It is fantasy to believe that some new report will change his mind. He doesn’t care.

        Stewart,

Two reviews to date, both failed for “conflict of interest” by the firms conducting the environmental impact.

Below is a decent timeline of events, though biased…

President Obama was savvy during the 2012 election cycle. He approved the southern half of the pipeline. He appeared pro-pipeline without actually offending his own base.

Way to cut that baby in two, Mr President!

I predict a third review, then one more election cycle.

Will the shutdown cut into his golfing time? That would be worse than he thought.

  3. Okie says:

As you know, he isn’t waffling, it is his strategy to prevent Congress from overruling his decision not to build the pipeline. Interestingly, due to fracking, the pipeline is probably no longer necessary, from a U.S. standpoint, but Obama’s interference will be remembered by the Canadians.

  4. Traitor In Chief says:

He hasn’t actually been waffling. His opinion has been set ever since George Soros and OPEC told him what it was.

It’s sad to see our historically strong neighbour going down the tubes! Come to Canada and be free & safe.
