Global Warming Makes It Cold

All that excess heat is making Seattle cold. If it gets really hot, we may have another ice age.

Will global cooling cause local warming?????????

  2. Mike Davis says:

I read that Global warming causes more cold and saw the links to research which he claims supports those claims. I read his title as an atmospheric scientist. I guess he does not feel qualified to claim full Climatologist yet. Maybe his goal in life is to grow up to be a real climatologist. I think he will have to work fast as his picture appears to show him older than I am. Maybe it is a second Childhood thing or something like that.
I do believe he has been smoking the same stuff as Steig who claimed that Antarctica is warming even if the temperatures show it is cooling.

I wanted to share this with those who are experiencing cold weather:
    Quote from the article:
OK, they don’t say why the globe is warming. That’s because we all know that CO2 is dramatically increasing, due to fossil fuel burning (there’s an isotope fingerprint in the data), and anyone who has had Atmos. Sci. 101, or read this column, knows that greenhouse gases heat the place up. They don’t want to keep repeating the obvious.

The question I have for the writer is where do we find more Green House Gasses for some heat?

  4. boballab says:

So then if I put a pot of water on my stove and set the burner to Hi , the water in the pot will freeze? Who Knew, I could freeze my meat and cook them at the same time in the oven!

    • Mike Davis says:

If you can get some more CO2 you can keep your house warmer this winter. This atmospheric scientist says that CO2 is an energy source because as most logical people know it requires an energy source to heat something.
I currently have near maximum GHGs in the atmosphere around my house and the temperature is still sitting near freezing.

But be careful, Trenberth may try to claim his missing heat.

      • Mike Davis says:

I hid it in my barn. Don’t tell any one! It would be a “Travesty” if Trenberth found out I was hiding his heat. I found the access panel for the heat that Big Jim claims is hiding in the pipeline also. Don’t let it out, but between you and me it is just off the Appalachian trail where it crosses the road through the Great Smokies. It is behind the plaque where the park was dedicated.

Nice work Mike. No one will find it there.

Still working on my patent application for the CO2 radiant heater. Should fly right through the application process. I shouldn’t even have to demonstrate a working model since so many eminant scientist are on record stating that CO2 reradiates heat in all directions.

One comment on that guy’s article and it’s a great one.

    • Mike Davis says:

The comment did bring a smile! I would not have been so kind but the commenter said it all.
I would say that SST could have a chat with the “Professor” But SST does not live in the left side of Washington State. 😉

lol, I was going to try to log in and respond to the idiot, but a response is already there, in which I doubt I could articulate better.

For us lazy people, I’ll just re-post this from a certain “Guybrush Threepwood”——–

“Hilarious to see what a joke global warming has become,

Global warming causes ‘local’ cooling, (all over the world apparently!) as you hear the same nonsense everywhere there is record snow/freezing temps.

That’s one way to hide the decline since 1998 I suppose..

But by the same rationale, local warming can be caused by global cooling right? Hmm.. wonder why we never hear about that- after all climatologists are well known for their impeccable scientific impartiality…

Dec 2009=2nd greatest global snow cover on record (Rutgers)

Anyone who knows atmos. sci 101 knows that tiny trace changes in Co2 can’t drive climate unfortunately.
    Ordovician ice age= 4400 ppm

The Great Lakes are left over from the last glacial maximum 18,000 odd years ago, and the land is still rising, (or is this magically caused by global warming too?) , just as glaciers, they have been in retreat ever since. Pray this does not reverse in our lifetimes, then we WILL have something to worry about!

Meanwhile, why not worry about something more scientifically literate, like Big Foot?

I’m not sure why anyone still writes this stuff- they just enjoy being ridiculed? Funding in danger of being cut off? No wonder nobody is paying to read newspapers anymore!”

    Guybrush, well said.

oh people will still believe him.

funny he was inspired to post that right after seattle had the coldest thanksgiving ever

  8. PhilJourdan says:

If you have ever been to Seattle – this record cold is the best thing to happen to them since the SeaHawks were formed!
