There is ice surrounding much of Svalbard.

In 1922, there was no ice around Svalbard (Spitzbergen.) Apparently there is more ice in the Eastern Arctic (Laptev and Kara Seas) than there was in 1922 – when the Arctic was melting down and experiencing a “radical change in climatic conditions.”

“Scientists warn” that more Eastern Arctic ice than 1922 is an indication of a tipping point, because climate scientists are a bunch of incompetent hacks – who are paid to make up nonsense which journalists can latch on to.

The Washington Post says the Arctic is “Super-Hot” in winter.

That super-hot air is coming south, and is forecast to obliterate the Aurora, Illinois record for January 30 afternoon cold – by eight degrees.

Carbon dioxide seems to be having difficulty trapping heat these days. Climate experts want to respond to the record cold by cutting off the fuel supply which millions of people depend on to stay alive day to day.

Arctic sea ice volume gain from January 1-23 has been second highest in the Danish Meteorological Institute record, just behind 2008.

The November gain was the highest on record, by a wide margin.

Experts describe these record gains in ice as a catastrophic meltdown.

A couple of our local conspiracy theorists believe DMI reports too much ice, and that is the reason the Arctic melting scam is collapsing.  So I did a comparison with NSIDC, and found out they are essentially identical.
