Experts : Cherry Blossom Peak Bloom Over

Climate experts say Washington DC cherry trees are blooming earlier due to “global warming” and predicted that peak bloom this year would be March 17-20.

It is March 22, and Washington DC looks like mid-winter. Perhaps all of the white stuff on the ground is fallen cherry blossom petals?

But not to worry!  Experts have updated their failed forecast to March 27.

Cherry blossom bloom dates have been trending later in DC, not earlier. But climate experts cling to their illusion that CO2 controls the climate and are thus blinded to reality.

Climate is climate, and climate science is nonsense, and never the twain shall meet. Experts believe cherry trees are going to start blooming in January, in spite of the fact that the concept is ridiculous and there is no evidence to back it up.

Could cherry blossoms one day be blooming in winter? – The Washington Post

March temperatures in the DC area show no long term trend, but recent years have been generally cold.

It wasn’t always cold in DC during March though – 1945 and 1946 had very early blooms.

Prior to 1950, March 22 was frequently a warm day in the US, with 1907 and 1910 being the warmest. During those years, 60% of US stations were over 70F on March 22.

There was a sharp drop off in the frequency of March 22 eighty degree weather after 1940.

On March 22, 1907 much  of the southeastern US was over 90 degrees, and 80 degree temperatures were widespread as far north as New York.

The belief that CO2 controls temperature is the most embarrassing and mindless mass superstition of the modern age.

Climate Scientists Grant The Midwest A Century Long Reprieve!

Thirty years ago, the world’s leading climate expert told Congress that the Midwest was going to see an immediate increase in droughts and heatwaves, due to an increase in atmospheric CO2.

24 Jun 1988, Page 135 – The Palm Beach Post at Newspapers.com

His forecasts completely failed. The frequency of hot days in the Midwest has plummeted, while precipitation has steadily increased. Like 97% of climate scientists, Hansen had no clue what he was talking about.

Having gotten everything exactly backwards, climate scientists have now pushed the date of this calamity out to the end of this century – long after they are dead and no longer need to defraud the public to pay for their tropical vacations to escape the Midwest cold.

A Climate Scientist’s Work Is Never Done

As expected in a warming world, the spring NH snow cover extent is declining quite significantly.

  • John Cook, Skeptical Science

Toto continues his global warming research into the evening hours. His particular area of interest is declining spring snow cover, and spring arriving earlier than it used to.

Toto Continues His Research Into The Night

Concern about declining spring snow cover is keeping Toto up well into the night.

All of our top government climate experts say that snow cover is declining.

Fraudster John Cook has this on his web site :

Long-term trend in snow cover in rapid decline

What The Science Says:  ….. the long-term trend in … annual snow cover is one of rapid decline. As a result, the planet as a whole is becoming less reflective and absorbing more sunlight, which is accelerating global warming.

Long-term trend in snow cover in rapid decline

John Cook’s claims are the exact opposite of what is occurring. Northern Hemisphere snow cover has been steadily increasing over the last 30 years, when CO2 reached 350 PPM and NASA’s James Hansen gave his dire global warming testimony to Congress.

Winter snow extent has been steadily increasing, due to cold Arctic air intruding to lower latitudes.

Earlier this year, there was snow on the ground in all 50 states at the same time – including Florida.

It is time to shut down the multi-billion dollar global warming scam. Government money has corrupted climate science beyond any level of hope that it can be fixed.

Diversity In Climate Science

Climate science has typically been dominated by middle aged, balding, white guys.

This lack of diversity is unacceptable in 2018, so I have enlisted a very diverse and colorful team of researchers to assist in my global warming studies of declining spring snow cover, and the early arrival of spring.

Declining March 21 Temperatures In The US

We are having a blizzard on the East Coast and same in the California mountains, but March 21 wasn’t always cold like this. March 21 temperatures were generally much warmer prior to the 1950’s.

On hundred years ago today, almost three fourths of the US was above 60F.

On this date 80 years ago, more than half of the US was over 70F.

On this date in 1921, it was hot in Boston and one person died from the heat.

21 Mar 1921, 2 – The Courier at Newspapers.com

It is freezing cold here in Philadelphia and snowing, and has been all month. But it wan’t always cold like this.  There were many years (when atmospheric CO2 was lower) during which March 21 was a very warm day.

Climate experts claim that spring is arriving earlier due to global warming, but like with everything else they say – they have no idea what they are talking about.

Washington DC cherry trees are blooming about two days later than they did 30 years ago, when CO2 was below 350 PPM.
