   the polar and tropical jets are coupling, and aiming right at the Sierra Nevada — 16 inches QPF forecast for the central sierra

     It is really weird when the Polar and Tropic start copulating. Good luck out west! You might end up with Alligators and Polar Bears interbreeding then you will have a herd of Polargators! or Allibears!
